The Integrated Care Board replaces the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group, which no longer exists.
The Integrated Care Board is responsible for planning the delivery of NHS services to achieve the aims of the strategy to improve the health of the population, including deciding how resources are allocated.
Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board is responsible for delivering health and care services locally.
Our priority is you. We work to ensure that all funding allocated to our area is focused on helping people in our city, towns, villages and communities to live longer lives in good health.
We work hard to spend taxpayers’ money wisely and focus our investment on front line services and bringing care closer to the people and places where they are needed most. We work jointly with the four local authorities, public and voluntary sector across BLMK to better serve you.
We have always been committed to being completely transparent and to support this, we have published a document which sets out how we use your money locally to run the Integrated Care Board (ICB). This includes showing the number of people funded by our management costs who work in each directorate to provide you and your family with the health and care you need.
All our staff work with local health and care and voluntary and public sector organisations to improve and provide better care to you and your family.
For more information about our structure you can view our organogram, either as a Powerpoint or as a PDF version.
